Ahmed Safwat is an Egyptian actor, born on 11 October 1977. He graduated from the High Institute of Theatrical Arts. Nour El Sherif chose him to play the role of 'Khaled El Daly' in the series El Daly, for which he was awarded best young actor prize, after his success in El Helaly's Way with Yahia El Fakharany. Safwat also played the role of Marshal Abdel Hakim Amer in the series Nasser. Safwat appeared in The Hunter, and recently in The Game of Forgetfulness.
