Biography

A reputed name in the Kolkata theatre circle, Goutam Halder is a Bengali film and theatre actor. His most famous plays are Sesh Sakkhatkar, Football, Pheriwalar Mrityu, Meghnadbadh Kabyo, and Borda. He has had the fortune of working with some of the most renowned Bengali directors like Anjan Dutta, Raja Sen, and Nitish Roy. His notable films are Maya Mridanga and Tadanta (2016), directed by Nitish Roy. He is also associated with 2018 movies Alinagarer Golokdhadha and Aaleya. His 2019 release includes Bohomaan, directed by Anumita Dasgupta.
