When former cop Kakuta (Hiroyuki Watanabe) asks for help with a wire fraud case, Ryūmonji entrusts his men, including Kanbara (Yasukaze Motomiya), to deal with the criminals. However, a drug deal within the family is exposed, and Ryūmonji works to resolve it. Final film in the '任侠哀歌' trilogy. Kurosaki Ken (Namioka Kazuki) has now lost both parents to the machinations of the Kiryu Clan and his fire for vengeance hits its peak. However, the chairman of the Kiryu Clan, Kijima (Watanabe Hiroyuki), is revealed to have been both a close friend of Ken's father Hiroshi ... and Ken's own biological father. Kijima challenges Ken to a one-on-one duel and allow his son an honourable vengeance, but the Kiryu Clan's captain, Sagawa (Motomiya Yasukaze) interferes to protect Chairman Kijima and shoots Ken in the leg, ending the fight in a draw. Kurosaki Ken (Namioka Kazuki), the son of Saijo Fund executive Kurosaki Hiroshi (Akai Hidekazu), gets caught up in a dispute between the Sagawa and Kawashima groups, both of which are affiliated with the yakuza organization Kiryu-kai, and is captured by the Sagawa gang along with his friends Ando Tatsuya (Kitadai Takashi) and Hanamaki Daisuke (Isaka Tatsuya). Just as they are about to be killed, Ken's father Hiroshi saves the three. After being persuaded by Hiroshi, the three swear to reform, but Tatsuya is tricked by Mikitani of the Kawashima gang and is nearly killed. Ken accidentally shoots Mikitani while trying to stop him, and is arrested and sentenced to 5 years for attempted murder. While in custody, his father appears to commits suicide and Ken becomes consumed with guilt and doubts about the veracity of his father's murder. Five years later, Ken is released, and begins to look for answers ...

Finally, the president of the Osaka Namba-kai, Masami Yukimura (Takashi Ukaji), reveals himself, and the story is about to connect to a new bloodline!
