A unique drama anthology series for our time, inspired by true events which happened in Kyiv in the first few weeks after the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. As the brutal war got underway, every second person left Kyiv. Yet every second person remained. These are their stories – variously moving, funny, sad, stark, unsettling, and uplifting.

So, Sasha believes that she will die soon. Neither dad nor Sasha's stepmother, Kristina, attaches importance to the girl's visions. But one night, Liza herself faces the "ghost" in the Orlovs' house - Now she has to find out who is scaring Sasha and what danger the girl is in in this house.

Maksim, a young and promising ethnographer and postgraduate student, arrives in the village of Rusalino to collect old folklore songs, tales and traditions for his papers in 1993. It was Liuba, a student of the same college, who persuaded him to come to this village, because her aunt, Varvara, lives in Rusalino and the area is famous for having preserved many old songs and rites. The girl believes sincerely that their scientific journey will help them get closer, because she is incredibly in love with Maxim. Liuba does not even suspect that here, in Rusalino, Maksim will meet Rada, a Gypsy girl, who will steal his heart for the rest of his life.
Olga's husband were missing on the East Ukraine, in military events. In desperate to find him, Olga comes to the witches, who tell her that her husband died. Emotionally destroyed woman does not want to live without her beloved, the witches offered her to drink infusion of mandrake and "all will be forgotten and sorrow and life will pass." Olga is ready for everything only to subsided her emotional pain, but the ritual is going wrong, events of this world and after-world are woven into a tight knot, when it is impossible to separate life from death.
