After graduating from the University of Toronto with a major in Caribbean Studies and minors in African Studies and Buddhist psychology, she briefly lived in Berlin for modelling. Known for roles in "Rookie Blue," "Murdoch Mysteries," and "The Umbrella Academy," Traoré portrays Marlene Massey in the 2022 CBC mini-series "The Porter."
